The Grand Camaros

Back in the 80s Friday and Saturday nights at The Errigle Inn meant just one thing: the best live music from local talent.

Music lovers of all ages were drawn back week after week to hear a mix of classic rock, blues, pop with songs by artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Toto, Genesis and many more.

The 80s may be a distant memory now, but the good news is the music of those live bands is coming back on Saturday 15th April in the Arbele Lounge.

Featuring original members and former members of CLOUDS, this is sure to be a fabulous night performed by THE GRAND CAMAROS.

Save the date for a nostalgic musical trip celebrating some of the best music The Errigle Inn had to offer from CLOUDS, SK’BOO etc.

AC?DC have been together for nearly 30 years – forming initially to celebrate early AC/DC and the songs of their original singer Bon Scott. From the early hits like ‘TNT’ and ‘Long Way to the Top’ from the High Voltage album, through ‘Dirty Deeds’ and ‘Jailbreak’, to the fantastic ‘Let There Be Rock’ and ‘Powerage’ albums to ‘Walk all Over You’ and ‘Touch Too Much’ from the Highway to Hell album, the band play all the best Bon Scott era DC tunes in their 2 hour set.
The band have added their favourites from the ‘Back in Black’ album, ‘Shoot To Thrill’, ‘Hells’ Bells’, ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ and of course the albums’ title track, as well as everyones’ favourite ‘Thunderstruck’.

Rubber Plants

Northern Ireland’s premier Led Zeppelin tribute band return to the Errigle Inn on Saturday 18th February.

Founded originally in the late ‘90s, The Rubber Plants’ music and personnel gradually changed to encompass more and more Led Zeppelin material until, by 1999, the had evolved into the beginnings of what they are today: A tight, professional Zeppelin tribute band, whose dynamic two-hours set has been distilled into an exciting mixture of power and innovation which genuinely captures the spirit of the original masters.

The band consists of Gerry Wilkinson on drums, Paul Tracey on bass and Gavin Correy on lead vocals and guitar. It is a mammoth task to take on the vocal range of Robert Plant and the masterful guitar licks of Jimmy Page but Correy deals with them admirably.

The band never attempts to clone Zeppelin’s tunes but to play them with heart and power, gaining respect and admiration from knowledgeable musical fans everywhere.
