Noel Burke (ex-Echo & The Bunnymen) Performs Reverberation

Noel Burke, singer is Echo & The Bunnymen from 1989 to 1992, performs the 1990 album, Reverberation, with full live band on its 35th anniversary.

 

About

Noel Burke ex-Echo & The Bunnymen performs the album Reverberation.

Noel Burke was offered one of the most difficult gigs in rock when he was offered the job of fronting Liverpool legends, Echo & The Bunnymen, following the departure of enigmatic frontman, Ian McCulloch, in 1989.

The former St Vitus Dance frontman from Belfast joined up with remaining EATB members Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson and released the album Reverberation the following year in 1990.

Burke toured the UK and USA with Echo & The Bunnymen and released 2 further singles before the band dissolved in 1992.

Although not received well at the time, Reverberation has gone on to become a cult classic and has gained more favourable reviews as the years have passed since its release.

To mark the 35th anniversary of the album, Noel Burke and full band, will be playing the album in full at select dates around the UK.

Beterbiev vs Bivol / Bakole vs Parker

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will settle their rivalry in a huge undisputed light-heavyweight title rematch this Saturday.

The first clash between two of boxing’s best was marred in controversy after Beterbiev secured a majority decision win. The contest was extremely close with both men separated by just five punches over the 12-round distance.

But in the end, two of the judges scored it in Beterbiev’s favour by margins of 115-113 and 116-112 while the third had it as a draw at 114-114 – with Bivol’s manager vowing to submit an official protest over the scoring.

Ireland vs France – Six Nations 2025

This one could decide who wins this year’s Six Nations, Ireland host France at Lansdowne Road on Saturday 8th March at 2.15pm.

 

 

The tournament finishes on Saturday 15th March when all six teams will be playing on the same day.

Nashville singer-songwriter Kevin Montgomery returns to the Errigle Inn in Belfast for an evening of music and laughter. The legendary Jude Johnstone joins as the opener.

Montgomery has written songs for Juice Newton, Martina McBride. Recently, wrote the single “Come to Mine” for Beth Neilsen Chapman’s most recent record with Chapman and Graham Gouldman from 10CC. He is a hardcore troubadour having completed four 50 States in 50 Days tours.

Jude Johnstone is an American singer-songwriter. Her songs have been covered by Laura Branigan, Trisha Yearwood, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Bette Midler, Johnny Cash, Stevie Nicks, Mary Black, and others. Johnstone wrote the No. 1 song “The Woman Before Me” on Yearwood’s debut CD, which also won an award from Broadcast Music Incorporated. In 1997, Johnny Cash won the Country Album of the Year Grammy for American II: Unchained for which Johnstone wrote the title track. She is to Trisha Yearwood what Jimmy Webb was to Glen Campbell.

Music lovers of all ages were drawn back week after week to hear the band’s mix of classic rock & pop with songs by artists like Fleetwood Mac, Toto, Genesis and many more.

For the past 25 years Arms of Venus de Milo have been one of Northern Ireland’s premier Rock and Indie cover bands. Widely respected for their versatile and energetic set list covering almost five decades, they have built up a loyal and well-deserved fan base.

Back in the 80s Friday Nights at the Errigle Inn meant one band….CLOUDS.

Music lovers of all ages were drawn back week after week to hear the band’s mix of classic rock & pop with songs by artists like Fleetwood Mac, Toto, Genesis and many more.

Well, the 80s may now be a distant memory but the good news is that CLOUDS ARE BACK and will once again take to the stage in the Arbele Lounge after a few sold out gigs.

Shockwave are back with a Christmas themed night of live Disco, Funk & Soul.

Shockwave is a live 8-piece band playing the best of classic disco, funk, soul and 80s/90s pop.

The band is made up of vocalist, guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, percussion and a brass section.
They play a mix of covers and original arrangements and perform everything from Chic, Jamiroquai, The Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin, The Communards, and more.

Shockwave have been filling dancefloors around Northern Ireland, performing at weddings, live music venues and festivals.

This year, Grimes and McKee bring their new comic manifesto ‘Christmas in New Ireland’ to the Arbele Lounge in The Errigle Inn.

After conquering Irish cultural worlds of the GAA and ‘the troubles’, legendary duo Grimes and McKee are back, to look forward, this time taking a futuristic look at the island of Ireland.

Travel in time by looking through the unique comedic lens of Grimes and McKee (The History of The Troubles according to my Da) at how Ireland might shape-up 30 years down the line.

Back in the 80s Friday Nights at the Errigle Inn meant one band….CLOUDS.

Music lovers of all ages were drawn back week after week to hear the band’s mix of classic rock & pop with songs by artists like Fleetwood Mac, Toto, Genesis and many more.

Well, the 80s may now be a distant memory but the good news is that CLOUDS ARE BACK and will once again take to the stage in the Arbele Lounge after a sold out gigs in March and September.

Weekend Breakfast starts Saturday 24th August from 10:30am

Enjoy a hearty Errigle Fry, or Avocado and Poached Egg with Sourdough.
Enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere inside and outside. We have plenty of room in our restaurant and outside on the Front Terrace.
Our coffee machine will be pouring great Espresso based drinks all morning and afternoon, available to sit in or take away.
