Grimes & McKee Christmas Do
Get ready to jingle all the way with the traditional Grimes & McKee Christmas Show – it’s gonna be a festive blast!
Grimes & McKee’s Christmas do is usually a coffee and a sausage roll at a filling station, but this year they’re having a proper Christmas do on stage, and everybody’s invited.
Come and see how the posh Alistairs got on at a Kneecap gig, how the Culchies enjoyed the hospitality at the Open golf, and reminisce with a 1950s Ulster Christmas. Watch Santa try to cope with Trump’s tariffs, and join Uncle Bertie as he goes Christmas shopping with just a fiver on him.
With Turlough and Traylough’s Folk Club, the Ulster Scots soap opera “Glenarm”, singing, dancing and geriatric acrobatics, it’s sure to be a Christmas Do never to forget.

CAMRA: Good Beer Guide
We’re delighted to be included in this year’s CAMRA: Good Beer Guide.
The Good Beer Guide is the UK’s definitive guidebook to good pubs that serve real ale across the UK. Refreshed and updated for its 53rd edition, it is fully revised and features recommended pubs that serve the best real ale as well as a comprehensive listing of breweries.
This is the complete book for beer lovers and for anyone wanting to experience the finest pubs. The Good Beer Guide is completely independent, with listings based entirely on evaluation by CAMRA members.
The foreword for this year’s guide has been penned by Ed Byrne, comedian and beer lover. Famous for his #preshowpints on social media, he has posted about the various bars and breweries he has sampled around the UK prior to his shows.

Try our New Wines this Summer
Le Chevalier Gambette
Carignan, Grenache, Shiraz / Syrah, Cotes du Rhone, France, 14%
A wine deep in colour with violet hints. The nose is deep and brooding offering black cherry, spice and liquorice. Medium-bodied, with no oak showing. Crunchy fruit and soft tannin are hallmarks of this recent Rhone addition. Wonderful alongside red meats in sauce and cheese.

It’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to an exceptionally crafted limited edition whiskey. A single cask bottling of 13 year old Irish Single Malt Whiskey with an exceptional Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask finish. Cask 1541 was selected personally by Phil McGurran of The Errigle Inn and bottled at cask strength for the best possible quality and flavour.
Jarlath Watson from Dunville’s Irish Whiskey and The Echlinville Distillery, said: “The Errigle Inn is one of Belfast’s oldest and best-known bars and is full of history, tradition and character. It is a proud part of city’s heritage and has stood the test of time, just like Dunville’s Irish Whiskey. It makes perfect sense for us to collaborate with Philip and his team this exclusive single cask from The Spirit of Belfast.
“With notes of ripe orchard fruits, stewed pears, dark stone fruits, spiced apple strudel and candied orange peel, cask 1541 boasts the big hitting PX sherry cask flavours that Dunville’s fans know and love, and the quality that they expect. The Single Cask Series is all about exceptional whiskey without compromise, with each cask selected from among the finest in our warehouses. Cask 1541 is a worthy addition to the series and will be right at home at The Errigle Inn.”
Phil McGurran from The Errigle Inn said: “We have been really excited to work with the team at The Echlinville Distillery and Dunvilles Irish Whiskey to produce this fine whiskey. My father Philip G McGurran was approaching his 80th Birthday and we wanted to mark the occasion with a fitting tribute to his many years running The Errigle Inn, and his dedication to the licensed industry.”

Noel Burke (ex-Echo & The Bunnymen) Performs Reverberation
Noel Burke (ex Echo and the Bunnymen) and St Vitus Dance perform Reverberation.
After his band St Vitus Dance went on extended hiatus at the tail end of the 80s, West Belfast born singer-songwriter Noel Burke was recruited by the remaining members of Echo And The Bunnymen to replace Ian McCulloch who had left to pursue a solo career. Burke spent three years fronting the post-punk legends, touring Europe and America and releasing the album Reverberation and several singles before that lineup was dissolved in 1992.
Although unfairly dismissed by UK critics at the time, the Geoff Emerick produced album did well in America and has gone on to quietly achieve cult status among Bunnymen fans as a psychedelia tinged classic.
St Vitus Dance reformed in 2005 and continue to perform and record.
In November 2024 Noel and St Vitus Dance triumphantly performed Reverberation in full for the first time ever to a sold out Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room. Now, to celebrate 35 years since its original release, Burke and the band take Reverberation on the road with shows in Belfast (Errigle 6th September), London (West Hampstead Arts Club 20th September), Manchester (Night and Day 1st October), Glasgow (McChuill’s 3rd October and Liverpool (Rough Trade 29th November).
Support for the Belfast gig comes from Donal Convery (ex Asterix) and Derry’s amazing Bam Bam
and the Calling making their first Belfast appearance in over 30 years.

From the early hits like ‘TNT’ and ‘Long Way to the Top’ from the High Voltage album, through ‘Dirty Deeds’ and ‘Jailbreak’, to the fantastic ‘Let There Be Rock’ and ‘Powerage’ albums to ‘Walk all Over You’ and ‘Touch Too Much’ from the Highway to Hell album, the band play all the best Bon Scott era DC tunes in their 2 hour set.
The band have added their favourites from the ‘Back in Black’ album, ‘Shoot To Thrill’, ‘Hells’ Bells’, ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ and of course the albums’ title track, as well as everyones’ favourite ‘Thunderstruck’.
