Paddy McDonnell Comedy

Fresh from a run of sold-out shows across the UK and Ireland, West Belfast’s own Paddy McDonnell returns to the Errigle Inn’s Arbele Lounge for a May Bank Holiday Special.

One of Ireland’s most popular storytellers, Paddy brings his signature “no-filter” brand of comedy to the stage, turning everyday madness into side-splitting anecdotes. In his latest material, he dives into the chaos of getting older, battling gout, and the perils of trying to act like a young man while raising kids. Expect a wild, relatable night of full-throttle storytelling and razor-sharp observations from a comedian who has sold out the SSE Arena and built a reputation as a master of the craft.

Grimes & McKee Christmas Do

Get ready to jingle all the way with the traditional Grimes & McKee Christmas Show – it’s gonna be a festive blast!

Grimes & McKee’s Christmas do is usually a coffee and a sausage roll at a filling station, but this year they’re having a proper Christmas do on stage, and everybody’s invited.

Come and see how the posh Alistairs got on at a Kneecap gig, how the Culchies enjoyed the hospitality at the Open golf, and reminisce with a 1950s Ulster Christmas. Watch Santa try to cope with Trump’s tariffs, and join Uncle Bertie as he goes Christmas shopping with just a fiver on him.

With Turlough and Traylough’s Folk Club, the Ulster Scots soap opera “Glenarm”, singing, dancing and geriatric acrobatics, it’s sure to be a Christmas Do never to forget.
No matter how hard you try.

CAMRA: Good Beer Guide

We’re delighted to be included in this year’s CAMRA: Good Beer Guide.

The Good Beer Guide is the UK’s definitive guidebook to good pubs that serve real ale across the UK. Refreshed and updated for its 53rd edition, it is fully revised and features recommended pubs that serve the best real ale as well as a comprehensive listing of breweries.

This is the complete book for beer lovers and for anyone wanting to experience the finest pubs. The Good Beer Guide is completely independent, with listings based entirely on evaluation by CAMRA members.

The foreword for this year’s guide has been penned by Ed Byrne, comedian and beer lover. Famous for his #preshowpints on social media, he has posted about the various bars and breweries he has sampled around the UK prior to his shows.
