St Vitus Dance featuring Noel Burke ( ex Echo and the Bunnymen )

For the first time in 30 years Noel Burke (ex-Echo and the Bunnymen) will be performing songs from the Bunnymen album “Reverberation” along with greatest hits by St Vitus Dance.

St Vitus Dance were forged in Belfast, but relocated to Liverpool to release “Love Me, Love My Dogma” in 1987 on the iconic Probe Plus record label.

Marked out from the beginning by their own brand of sixties-tinged, intelligent pop, their first LP told tales of late night down-at-heel bars and low dives, of dodging road-blocks and getting the last black hack home.

In 1989, Noel was invited to join Echo and the Bunnymen and recorded the album “Reverberation” with them the following year.

Two more St Vitus Dance albums followed including “Glypotheque” in 2008 and “Bystanders” in 2012’ The later was launched in Belfast, when they played alongside the Monochrome Set.

St Vitus Dance have been back in the studio and have just released their fantastic new single Down To Size, which is now available on all streaming platforms. This is the first new release from the band since 2022’s Get Along and is the latest addition to a back catalogue stretching back to their classic 1987 debut album Love Me Love My Dogma.

Noel and St Vitus Dance will be supported by a live set by Dee McDowell ( from cult 1980s Belfast band “Cut the Bag” ) and a DJ playing alternative hits from the 80s and beyond.
