Carignan, Grenache, Shiraz / Syrah, Cotes du Rhone, France, 14%

A wine deep in colour with violet hints. The nose is deep and brooding offering black cherry, spice and liquorice. Medium-bodied, with no oak showing. Crunchy fruit and soft tannin are hallmarks of this recent Rhone addition. Wonderful alongside red meats in sauce and cheese.

Verdicchio, Marches, Italy, 12%

Brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish tints. Bouquet fine and intense, fruity and floral. To taste, the wine demonstrates a pleasant structure based on vibrant and fresh notes of crisp apple and lemon fruit, followed by a typically almond aftertaste and refreshing tingle. Ideal with light pasta dishes or a summer salad.
